WTOP News Selects I-66 EMP as One of Greater Washington’s Top Workplaces of 2026

Confidential Survey of Employees Puts66 Express Operator on Prestigious List

Manassas, Virginia June 22, 2026– I-66 Express Mobility Partners (I-66 EMP), the builder and operator of the 22.5-mile multi-modal 66 Express Outside the Beltway managed-lane facility in Northern Virginia, has been recognized among the Top Workplaces of 2026 by WTOP News.

The announcement was made June 18 at a ceremony held at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia.

The illustrious listing of 342 local workplaces is based solely upon a confidential survey administered to employees by Energage LLC, a third-party engagement technology provider. The survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few

“We’re proud to have earned a spot on WTOP News’ Top Workplaces for the first time,” said Ruben Roman, CEO of I-66 EMP. “As a company, we strongly believe in making sure our entire team knows their value and feels supported, so receiving this prestigious award demonstrates the cohesiveness and teamwork we strive for. We thank WTOP and Energage for conducting the survey and selecting us as a Top Workplace for 2026.”

To qualify for Top Workplaces recognition, employers must have at least 50 workers in the region. In the entire DMV region, only 117 organizations with fewer than 150 employees – such as I-66 EMP – have earned recognition as a top employer.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage LLC. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
